FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to a method for detecting a circulating tumor cell and/or circulating tumor stem cell from a biological circulating body fluid. Method comprises a step of pre-processing a biological body fluid sample to obtain a mononuclear cell phase, in which preliminary treatment of a biological body fluid sample with removal of a liquid component and a non-cellular component contained in a biological circulating body fluid; step of obtaining a well plate containing a culture medium containing a serum-free growth medium for a circulating tumor cell and/or a circulating tumor stem cell, and sowing thereon mononuclear cells obtained at the first stage, followed by incubation; a step for removing culture medium from a well of a plate obtained by incubating at a second step; as well as a stage of detecting an adhesive tumor cell attached to a well of a plate after the third stage.
EFFECT: method described above enables reliable and stable detection or release/obtaining of circulating tumor cell and circulating tumor stem cell present in trace amounts in biological circulating body fluid.
