SUBSTANCE: disclosed are a culture medium containing from 10 ng/ml to 100 ng/ml of amphiregulin, epidermal growth factor, insulin, B27, ROCK kinase inhibitor Y27632, neuregulin 1, fibroblast growth factor 7, TGFβ receptor inhibitor type I A8301 and a P38/MAPK SB202190 inhibitor, but not containing Wnt agonists, for culturing primary epithelial cells of the mammary gland; method for culturing primary epithelial cells of the mammary gland, involving the use of said medium; and a method for evaluating the efficacy of a drug for treating breast diseases, involving culturing mammary epithelial cells using the disclosed method and detecting their viability in the presence of the drug.

EFFECT: inventions provide reduced duration of cultivation, increased proliferation and homogeneity of primary epithelial cells of mammary gland, which can be used for evaluation of drugs in treatment of diseases of mammary gland.
