FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to linear structures of railway tracks superstructure and is used on mainline railway lines. Complex method of producing composite sleepers by processing wood and polymer wastes involves mixing filler and binder and molding composite mixture. Filler used is wood particles. Binder used is secondary polymers – polyethylene terephthalate, low-pressure polyethylene and high-pressure polyethylene, ground to an arbitrary diameter of 10 mm, heated to 120 °C, at the ratio of all components of the mixture: wood particles 60 wt%, polyethylene terephthalate 20 wt%, low-pressure polyethylene 10 wt%, high-pressure polyethylene 10 wt%. Obtained mixture is heated to 220±5 °C is molded in mold under pressure 1.2±0.6 MPa and mold walls temperature 220±5 °C. Shape is fixed with constipations and held for 10 minutes. Mold is cooled in running water at water temperature equal to 20±5 °C for 5 minutes with subsequent extraction of composite material and holding for 24 hours at air temperature 18±3 °C.

EFFECT: obtaining material with high strength and durability.
