FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method for removal of moisture from a sealed body of an electrical device consists in the fact that at the inner side of the body there installed is at least one thermoelectric device which includes a cooled and heated surface operating on the principle of the Peltier effect, on the cooled surface of which moisture is condensed. Condensed moisture is discharged outside the housing. Heated surface of the thermoelectric device is cooled by a directed air flow and condensed moisture is discharged without damaging the housing, using at least one partially permeable drainage element, by means of which moisture is passed outside and preventing access of moisture inside the body of the electrical device. Drainage element is made in the form of a vessel with a receiving hole, moisture removal from which is carried out under the effect of liquid pressure on the walls of the vessel.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of Peltier element by providing forced cooling of its heated surface with directed air flow, as well as in higher efficiency of air drying sealed housing of electrical device, with removal of moisture without breaking its tightness.
