SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. Frequency converter of cabinet design includes protective housing with power and low-current electronic components placed inside. Frequency converter is equipped with a system of forced air ventilation, which contains an inlet air filtration zone, made in the form of a separate part of the protective housing. Filtering zone comprises labyrinth air channel, where one of walls is made in the form of movable frame structure for installation of air filters. Part of labyrinth air channel may contain moisture discharge zone arranged ahead of air filters. Moisture removal zone may also contain a section with a larger cross-section area and a drainage outlet with drain holes.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of cooling and protection from environmental effects.
