FIELD: fiber-optic equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to optical fiber equipment. Fiber-optic cable includes a core, which includes assembled optical fibers, inner shell, inside which core is located, wire body embedded in inner shell, a pair of tensile elements embedded in inner shell, between which core is located, reinforcing sheet that covers inner shell and wire body. As well as an outer shell, which covers the reinforcing sheet, wherein for the inner shell the condition ti < Ti and t0 < T0, where ti – thickness of its radial inner part relative to wire body, Ti – thickness of its radially inner part relative to pair of tensile elements, t0 is thickness of its radially outer part relative to wire body, T0 is the thickness of its radially outer part relative to the pair of tensile elements. Alternatively, in an alternative embodiment, the inner shell has a groove extending radially inward from the outer peripheral surface of the inner shell.

EFFECT: technical result is providing ease of operation of drawing optical fiber.
