FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed thermostatic device for carrying out nanocalorimetric measurements in a controlled atmosphere allows placing a nanocalorimetric sensor inside the housing. Device can be integrated into instruments for measurement of thermophysical and structural parameters of samples. Device includes a housing configured to be connected to a connector and provided with windows from X-ray transparent material, in which there is a nanocalorimetric sensor, a rectangular Peltier element, heat-removing plate made from material with good heat conductivity, liquid cooling system built in the housing. Heat-removing plate is provided with a hole for radiation passage, and the sensor with the analyzed sample is located on this plate so that the active part of the sensor is placed in the projection of the hole. Housing has a built-in electrical board for connection of nanocalorimetric sensors.
EFFECT: wider possibility of nanocalorimetry due to possibility of sample heating up to 450 °C and sample cooling down to -20 °C, as well as due to the possibility of creating a controlled atmosphere inside the device (control of humidity and composition of the gas mixture).
