FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument-making and can be used for combined in-situ studies of the structure and thermophysical properties of materials of different types in a wide temperature range. Proposed device for thermostatting of new-generation nanocalorimetric sensors allows placing several different types of nanocalorimetric sensors (XEN-40014, XEN T08, FlashDSC chip) inside the housing. Device can be integrated into instruments for measurement of thermophysical and structural parameters of samples. Device expands capabilities of nanocalorimetry due to possibility of sample heating up to 450 °C and sample cooling down to -20 °C. Besides, the design of the device allows using sensors having two active zones, one of which can be used as a reference cell. Device includes a housing configured to be connected to a connector and provided with windows from X-ray transparent material, in which there is a nanocalorimetric sensor, a rectangular Peltier element, heat-removing plate made from material with good heat conductivity, liquid cooling system built in the housing. Heat-removing plate is provided with a hole for radiation passage, and the sensor with the analyzed sample is located on this plate so that the active part of the sensor is placed in the projection of the hole. Housing has built-in electric boards for connection of various sensors.
EFFECT: higher quality of conducted research.
