FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and device for communication. Communication device comprises receiver, which during operation is configured to receive downlink control (DCI) information converted to one or more sets of physical resource blocks (PRB) from plurality of PRB sets; a processing circuit which, during operation, is configured to convert an ACK/NACK acknowledgment signal to a PUCCH resource, wherein the ACK/NACK acknowledgment signal is generated based on the result of detecting data indicated in the DCI information; and a transmitter, which during operation is configured to transmit an ACK/NACK acknowledgment signal, wherein the plurality of PRB sets includes a first PRB set and a second PRB set; for the first PRB set, the index to the PUCCH resource is determined without adding the offset of the PRB set and the first index of the enhanced control channel element (ECCE) to which the DCI information is converted; and for the second PRB set, the index to the PUCCH resource is determined by adding the offset of the PRB set and the first index of the ECCE element to which the DCI information is converted.
EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of efficient identification of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource.
