FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of providing reception status reports in a communication device. Method comprises: configuring said communication device to periodically report reception status by association of first type of status report with value of first parameter of periodicity of reporting and association of second type of status report with value of second parameter of report reporting periodicity, wherein said first type of status report is different from said second type of status report, and said first report reporting period parameter is different from said second reporting periodicity parameter, and periodically sending reception status reports of said first type according to said associated value of said first report periodicity parameter and reception status reports of said second type in accordance with said associated value of said second report periodicity parameter.
EFFECT: high flexibility of providing reports with efficient use of transmission resources.
