TEST MODIFICATION METHOD FOR IN VITRO DIAGNOSIS OF TUBERCULOUS PLEURISY Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2708388 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to phthisiology and immunology, and consists in modifying the test for in vitro diagnosis of tuberculosis pleurisy. This test is based on determining the number of mononuclear cells of pleural fluid producing interferon-gamma in response to mycobacterium tuberculosis antigen stimulation. That is ensured by separating mononuclear cells from the pleural fluid and diluting them therein by adding a microtiter plate into the wells. Antigens (CFP-10 and ESAT-6) and universal T-cell mitogen are stimulated with phytohemagglutinin. Incubate for 16–20 hours at 37 °C and visualized using standard enzyme immunoassay procedures. Content of mononuclear cells of the pleural fluid in the working suspension and in the wells of the microtiter plate is 6.5×105 cells/ml and 65,000 cells in the well.

EFFECT: invention allows reducing the number of uncertain test results, which allows improving its diagnostic informativity.
