FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: method of making inorganic fine fillers, namely hollow glass microspheres and microballs, which can be used in chemical, shipbuilding aerospace construction industry and other industries, as well as for household purposes. In order to increase production efficiency of achieving high quality of products, reduce material and energy costs, increase productivity, process operations, namely, thermal forming (spherolization) and separation of microspheres or microballs from gas-air medium for independent control of their processes are functionally separated between each other by a passing relay link – settling chamber, wherein the combustion products cooling together with the microsphere or microballs coming out of the furnace is performed by mixing with the autonomous air flow with simultaneous stabilization of the thermal process in the furnace, which enabled to achieve the technical result.
