FIELD: chemistry; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical production of disperse copper-containing particles. Polymer solution is prepared as a stabilizing component and an electrolyte containing copper cations. Solution is electrolyzed by direct current in an electrolysis cell with a copper cathode and an anode with deposition of copper particles. Anode is used, made in the form of a hollow cylinder, and cathode – in the form of a bundle of isolated, uniformly distributed in the volume of solution inside the cylinder of wires with open sections, providing cathodic current density from 10 to 100 A/cm2. Copper-polymer nanoparticles of spherical shape with size of not more than 20 nm, which are generated in the entire volume of the formed colloidal solution, which after their precipitation are highly dispersed, uniform in form of particles with crystalline faceting, do not contain dendrites.
EFFECT: higher rate of electrochemical process to obtain uniform in shape and size of finely dispersed copper particles with low agglomerability.
