FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lubricants and more specifically to grease lubricants used in friction assemblies of different machines or mechanisms operated in extremely low temperatures. Low-temperature grease contains a base – acetyltributylcitrate and a thickener – cellulose acetobutyrate with the following ratio of components, wt%: cellulose acetobutyrate – 3–20, acetyltributylcitrate – the rest. According to another version of implementation of invention low-temperature grease includes base – acetyltributylcitrate, thickener – cellulose acetobutyrate and antifriction additive – material powder with Mohs hardness from 0.5 to 2.0 at following ratio of components, wt%: cellulose acetobutyrate – 3–20, antifriction additive – 3–30, acetyltributylcitrate – rest. As said antifriction additive can be used boron nitride, or graphite, or fluoroplastic, or molybdenum disulphide.
EFFECT: wider range of use of grease in range from -80 to +200 °C.
