SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to psychophysiology, and can be used in psychoemotional and physical self-regulation. For this purpose, after formulation of the problem, a short fragment of the problem causing the greatest stress is isolated. Visual image of a short fragment of the problem with a sensory-visual association of a visual image of a short fragment of the problem with a part of the body is presented. Muscles are exposed in a part of the body with discomfort sensation by massaging pressing or compression. Self-regulation process is additionally accompanied by concentration on all muscles, in which a response is observed, monitored when performing the action on muscles. Representing the visual image of the short fragment of the problem is carried out until the discomfort sensations disappear, after which the exposure to the muscles is stopped and the supine position or the sitting position is abstracted from all thoughts associated with the problem, in process of which the body is subjectively perceived in the form of a shell filled with a homogeneous substance of residual uncomfortable sensations, and concentration is performed until the symptoms disappear completely.

EFFECT: method provides intensive psychoemotional and physical self-regulation with accompanying reduced probability of repeated manifestations of uncomfortable sensations.
