SUBSTANCE: cartridge for use in an aerosol generating electrically controlled system comprises a liquid storage part (8) and a fluid-permeable heating element (1) comprising first (1a) and second (1b) surface. First surface (1a) is located upstream and intended for receiving liquid (7), and second surface (1b) is located further downstream and intended for release of liquid (7) in evaporated form. Cartridge additionally comprises capillary body (5) having elongated first end (6) and second end (9), wherein elongated first end (6) passes inside liquid storage part (8) for contact with liquid (7), and second end (9) is in contact with first surface (1a) of heating element (1), and cross-section area of capillary body (5) at second end (9) is greater than cross-section area of capillary body (5) on elongated first end (6).
EFFECT: cartridge for an aerosol generating system is disclosed.
