FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to resuscitation and intensive care, and can be used for treating intestinal failure. Oxygenated saline enteral solution (SES) is introduced into the gastrointestinal tract. SES oxygenation is performed with the help of the standard system for oxygen therapy by immersing the distal end of the oxygen catheter on the bottom of the vessel with saline enteral solution and feeding the oxygen flow through it with 3 l/min. Oxygen sparging through the saline enteral solution is carried out continuously throughout the time of introduction of the enteral solution along the probe.
EFFECT: method enables preventing enterogenous intoxication by reducing the recovery time of barrier, evacuation and trophic gastrointestinal function.
