FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-power machining of hard-to-moderate axisymmetric workpieces of shaft type. To increase the quality of workpieces, the workpiece is subjected to force action beyond the law of elasticity within the selected portion of the workpiece, control of the yield point at force action is carried out by controlling the temperature effect on the workpiece section, deformation of billet is performed by bending, billet bent sign-alternatively, simultaneously with bending deformation billet is rotated with simultaneous axial feed. Deformed workpiece is put into container and moved into storage zone, where blank is heated to tempering temperature and uniformly cooled. Container is equipped with heating element with thermal insulation and temperature sensor, output of which is connected to input of automatic control unit, and its output is connected to input of heating element, which creates control loop with temperature feedback.
EFFECT: higher quality of blanks.
