FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used in manufacture of shaft-type parts. Workpiece is divided into sections along the length, which are subsequently treated by temperature and force. Force action on each section is carried out by stretching it in opposite directions by means oa hydraulic force drive of axial deformation. In this case, curvature shape and magnitude of processing workpiece are determined, depending on which processing sequence of the workpiece parts is selected. Sections length is determined taking into account deflection under the weight of section and hydraulic power drive of axial deformation. Sites are bounded on both sides by projections, height of which is equal to allowance for roughing the workpiece. In process of force action, magnitude of axial elastic-plastic deformation in two zones of workpiece is controlled and inequality of these values in these zones is eliminated by increasing hydraulic actuator pressure.
EFFECT: as a result, workpiece quality is improved.
