FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of powdered mixtures of binary alloys. Method includes electric explosion of two twisted wires of different diameters. Wire twisting pitch makes 2-3 turn per centimeter of wire length. Disperse and phase composition of the mixture is controlled by varying diameters of wires. Into the wire at the moment of their explosion, the values of energy E/Ec, which is equal to 0.35–2.45 for each of the wires, are introduced, where E is energy introduced into the wire at the moment of explosion, Ec is the sublimation energy of the wire metal. Powder mixtures of micro- and nanoparticles of binary alloys Ti-Al, Ni-Al, Fe-Al can be obtained for additive technologies of parts manufacturing.
EFFECT: obtaining powdered mixtures with particle size of less than 10 mcm.
