FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy and can be used in additive technologies for the manufacture of low-temperature high-strength solders, magnetic materials, catalysts, sorbents, dyes, additives to oils and polymeric materials. First, the volume formed by the reactor and pipes connecting it to the cyclone, the lower part of which is equipped with a hopper, is evacuated to a residual pressure of 10-2 Pa. Then it is filled with carbon monoxide to a pressure of 105 Pa at a gas flow rate of 10 m/s at the reactor inlet and an electric explosion of a low-carbon steel wire is carried out at a specific energy of 7-18 kJ/g and pulse duration of 1.2-2 mcm. Explosion products are directed through a cyclone into a sedimentation hopper by a gas flow. When filling the hopper, the process is stopped, the hopper is disconnected from the cyclone, covered with a lid with a hole, kept in this state for at least 48 hours. The resulting metal powder is removed and placed in a storage container. Metal powder is a mixture of micro- and nanoparticles ranging in size from 20 to 300 nm.
EFFECT: improvement of low-temperature high-strength solders, magnetic materials, catalysts, sorbents, dyes, additives to oils and polymeric materials production.
