FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of organo-containing raw material in order to obtain active coals, in particular, to a laboratory unit for producing efficient carbon sorbents and useful thermolysis products. Proposed unit comprises gas preparation and dosing unit, reactor unit including tubular electric furnace with cylindrical quartz reactor equipped with two nozzles for inert gas inlet and steam and gas products output, reactor heating control unit and temperature control unit and waste gas cleaning unit, which includes two in-series connected traps for simultaneous trapping of liquid and gas products formed during thermal decomposition of coal.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain efficient carbon sorbents with high texture characteristics and an environmentally safe process for production thereof.
