FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a binder composition, in particular for wood composite boards obtained from a binder composition, in particular for wood composite boards obtained from: a polyurethane adhesive; - at least one polyatomic alcohol compound; - at least one compound of general formula (I): RaSiX(4-a) (I), or general formula (II): ObXc(OH)dReSiO (4-bcde)/2 (II), where X is H, OH or a hydrolysable moiety selected from a group comprising halogen, alkoxy, carboxyl, amino, monoalkylamino or dialkylamino, aryloxy, acyloxy, alkylcarbonyl; - R is a non-hydrolysable organic fragment R selected from a group comprising substituted and unsubstituted alkyl, substituted and unsubstituted aryl, substituted and unsubstituted alkenyl, substituted and unsubstituted alkynyl, substituted and unsubstituted cycloalkyl, which can be interrupted by -O- or -NH- , and - where R has at least one functional group Q selected from a group comprising epoxy, hydroxyl, ester, amino, monoalkylamino, dialkylamino, substituted and unsubstituted aniline, amide, carboxyl, alkynyl, acrylic, acryloxy-, methacrylic, methacryloxy-, mercapto-, cyano-, alkoxy-, isocyanate, aldehyde, alkylcarbonyl group, acid anhydride group and/or phosphoric acid, and -R and X in each case can be identical or different from each other, and - a = 0, 1, 2, 3, in particular 0 or 1; - b, c, d = 0 or 1 and - e = 1, 2, 3. Invention also relates to a wood composite plate containing said binder composition.

EFFECT: invention reduces amount of applied adhesive.
