FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the woodworking industry, in particular to the processing of wood chips for the OSB board production. Wood shavings are treated with steam from 5 to 20 minutes after its manufacturing without drying. At that steam is passed through wood chips at temperature from 80 °C to 120 °C and under pressure from 0.5 bar to 2 bar. Wood shavings are made of logs, treated with steam, dried, glued, distributed on conveyor belt and pressed to produce OSB board. Production line comprises a device for debarking suitable logs, a chip mill, a device for steam processing, a dryer, a device for sorting and separation of chips, a device for gluing chips, a device for distribution of glued chips on a conveyor belt and a press. Device (10) for steaming comprises housing (11), transportation device (12) passing through housing, steam supply line (13), provided above transportation device in housing. Along supply line there is spraying device (14) for application of steam to wood chips located on transportation device.

EFFECT: simplified process of wood chips treatment.
