SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and aims at assessing the probability of an unfavorable outcome in the patients suffering pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) associated with systemic connective tissue diseases (SCTD). A uric acid level (X₁), concentration of C-reactive protein (X₂) and presence of anticentromere antibodies (X₃); wherein X₁ and X₃ is evaluated in points, namely: with value X₁≥435 mcmole/l, assigning "1 point", with value of <435 mcmole/l, assigning "0 points", in the absence of X₃ assigning "0 points", in the presence of X₃ – "1 point"; X₂ – in absolute values, g/l; based on obtained data determining probability of adverse outcome of PAH SCTD (p) by formula: p=0.1624×exp(1.4103×X₁+0.0365×X₂+1.0636×X₃), if p<0.5, a low risk of an unfavorable outcome is stated if 0.5≤p<0.7, the average risk of an unfavorable outcome is determined, in the cases p≥0.7, high risk of adverse outcome of PAH associated with SCTD.

EFFECT: method enables higher diagnostic accuracy.
