FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to areas of radio communication and electronic warfare and can be used to design devices for generation of high-frequency signals at a given number of frequencies. Method is based on conversion of constant voltage source energy to energy of high-frequency signal, interaction of high-frequency signal with direct transmission circuit made of three-terminal nonlinear element and four-terminal element, load and external feedback circuit. Four-terminal network is resistive. Load is made in form of the first two-terminal element with complex resistance. External feedback circuit used is an arbitrary four-terminal device connected to a three-terminal nonlinear element in a series-parallel circuit. Three-terminal nonlinear element and feedback circuit as single unit are cascaded between introduced second bipolar with complex resistance, simulating resistance of generator signal source in amplification mode, and input of resistive four-terminal device, to output of which load is connected. Excitation conditions in the form of balance of amplitudes and phase balance and matching conditions are simultaneously carried out at a given number of frequencies by selecting frequency dependences of imaginary components of resistances of the signal source in amplification mode x0 and load xn from the condition of providing generation excitation mode in form of an imaginary component equal to zero and equality of non-positive number of real component of denominator of transfer coefficient in amplification mode simultaneously on all specified frequencies of generated high-frequency signals at constant amplitude of constant voltage source in accordance with mathematical expressions.
EFFECT: technical result is increased number of generated oscillations frequencies, possibility to generate complex signals, reduced dimensions and weight of device.
