SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio communication. Method for generation and frequency modulation of high-frequency signals four-terminal element is resistive, load is made in the form of first bipolar with complex resistance, external feedback circuit used is four-terminal element, in parallel connected to three-polar nonlinear element with feedback circuit as integral unit cascade include between introduced second terminal device and input of resistive four-terminal element to output of which is connected load, excitation conditions and matching conditions are made at quasi-linear dependence of generation frequency of amplitude of control signal to ensure excitation mode generation.

EFFECT: technical result consists in generation and frequency modulation device efficiency due to increased linear section of frequency modulation characteristic at arbitrary characteristics of the nonlinear element, external feedback circuit and parameters of resistive four-terminal element.
