FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for electrochemical treatment of helical gear profile in hole of tubular billet for making stator plates out of elastomer used in screw gerotor hydraulic engines for drilling oil wells. Electrode unit for electrochemical treatment of screw toothed profile in hole of tubular billet contains electrode with helical gear shape of external surface. Electrode is made in the form of a set of splined disks installed on the mandrel with formation of a theoretical profile of each screw tooth of the electrode by multiple screw splines, which tops are conjugated with the envelope of the theoretical profile of the screw tooth of the electrode.

EFFECT: invention provides increased speed of electrochemical treatment of screw toothed profile in hole of tubular billet, reduced power consumption, increased accuracy of treatment by formation of additional zones of electrochemical treatment between front surface of splines in splined disks of electrode and material of tubular billet, improved heat removal, creation of additional turbulence and increased efficiency of flushing and cleaning of metal sludge from interelectrode intervals by flow of electrolyte for prevention of short circuits.
