FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for electrochemical treatment of helical gear profile in hole of tubular billet for making stator plates out of elastomer used in screw gerotor hydraulic engines for drilling oil wells. Proposed electrode assembly also enables to increase processing accuracy by improving efficiency of electrode heat transfer and to ensure isothermal conditions with lowest possible gradient of current density on its surface by cooling electrolyte flow of electrode before pumping it through electrode gap to prevent leakage currents, shunt operating current in electrode gap, centering electrode in untreated hole of tubular blank, as well as improve efficiency of ash and sludge from cleaning metal electrode gap electrolyte stream to prevent short circuits.

EFFECT: invention prolongs service life of electrode for electrochemical treatment of helical gear profile in hole of tubular billet, reduces power consumption.
