FIELD: heating equipment.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a temperature control system for influencing temperature in at least one building room. System comprises at least two heat exchangers, each heat exchanger has a control valve, supply opening and return hole, wherein said holes are connected to a fluid supply system configured to supply a fluid heat carrier, and a sensor unit capable of detecting physical characteristics of the fluid coolant in each heat exchanger and an additional physical characteristic of the system, wherein the system further comprises processing means to receive data from the sensor unit, wherein the processing means comprise diagnostics with the possibility of detecting the type of failure of the temperature control system. At that said processing means can detect heat exchanger clogging or control valve jamming when at least one of following conditions is met: command is given to open the control valve of the heat exchanger, however the temperature at the inlet of the heat exchanger changes only in a predetermined range, or the difference between inlet temperature and heat exchanger outlet temperature is less than a predetermined value for a time greater than a predetermined period of time, required room temperature is not achieved after a predetermined period of time, command is given for complete opening of the valve, and conditions are not met in a predetermined number of other rooms, or the difference between the inlet temperature and the average room temperature is less than a predetermined value.
EFFECT: this makes it easier to search for a defect in a temperature control system.
