Technical solution comprises biographical information collection device configured to collect biographical information from the protected article; protective feature detector comprising an optical detector configured to detect the optical property of the security feature selected from the intensity of the emitted, reflected or absorbed light, the emitted light wavelength, the reflected light wavelength, absorbed light wavelength and light polarization, wherein security feature is presented in form of image or graphic element on and/or in protected article; and output device, wherein the collected biographical information and the detected optical property of the security feature on and/or in the protected article are processed to determine the authenticity of the protected article, wherein the output device is configured to output a signal indicative of the determination, wherein the technical solution further comprises a localization device for determining location of the device.
EFFECT: higher reliability and speed of inspection.
