FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. Power and control device (1) for medium-voltage equipment comprises power and control module (2) having first power port (21) configured to be electrically connected to power supply (60); first control device (3), electrically connected in operating mode to the first power port and power supply, wherein the first control device is configured to prevent power supply to the power and control module through the first power port, if operating temperature of power and control device is lower than first threshold value (TH1), reflecting minimum operating temperature provided for power and control module. Device (1) additionally comprises second control device (4) electrically connected in operating mode to the second power supply port and electric energy accumulator, wherein the second control device is configured to prevent power supply to the power and control module through the second power port, if operating temperature of power and control device is lower than second threshold value (TH2), reflecting minimum operating temperature provided for electric energy accumulator, wherein first threshold value (TH1) differs from second threshold value (TH2).

EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability of device operation at low temperatures.
