FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to image processing devices in dentistry. A method of processing an image of a structure associated with an inner side of the oral cavity. Method provides for stages, at which: receiving from a at least one external device a computed tomographic (CT) scanned image and a plurality of scanned images of the oral cavity relating to the person to be treated, having control marks attached inside the oral cavity; detecting control marks and conformity factors including the shape or type of the crown, root, segment of the removed tooth or structure of the teeth by the CT scanned image and by the scanned image of the oral cavity; generating a combined image by aligning the images based on the location of the control marks and at least one of the match factors detected on the images; dental profile related to inner side of oral cavity of subject to be treated is determined on the basis of combined image; and image of structure relating to inner side of oral cavity on base of tooth profile is generated. Image processing device comprises: communication unit configured to receive from at least one external device a computer tomographic (CT) scanned image and a plurality of scanned images of the oral cavity, relating to a human being to be treated, having control marks attached to the oral cavity; and a processor configured to detect control marks and conformity factors including a shape or type of crown, root, segment of removed tooth or structure of teeth on CT scanned image and scanned image of oral cavity to generate a composite image by combining images based on the location of the control marks and at least one of the matching factors detected on the images, and configured to generate an image of the structure associated with the inner side of the oral cavity according to the tooth profile.
EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to increase accuracy of alignment of images.
