SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to dental surgical templates and methods of their manufacture. The template has a housing that includes guide elements for guiding dental instruments, and a set of at least seven contact elements. Each contact element is made with the possibility of contact with a rigid part of the 3D abutment surface by means of a point contact. The housing connects a set of contact elements and guide elements into a single part. The template with a set of contact elements is designed to work together with the 3D abutment surface to achieve a positive closure when the surgical template is installed on the abutment surface. The template has a locking mechanism by temporarily deforming the surgical template, so that one or more contact elements can be snapped on a rigid part of the 3D abutment surface, fulfilling the condition for geometric closure. A positive closure is a condition in which a surgical template cannot be removed from a 3D abutment surface in any direction by any external force acting on the template, without deforming the 3D abutment surface or without deforming the surgical template.
EFFECT: easier installation of a dental implant is achieved.
