FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a petroleum fuel composition for use as fuel, which contains (i) particulate material, wherein at least about 90 % by volume (vol. %) of particles have a size of not more than about 20 mcm in diameter; and (ii) liquid petroleum fuel; wherein said particulate material is contained in an amount of not more than about 30 % by weight (wt. %) of the total weight of the petroleum fuel composition; wherein said particulate material contains coal, where said coal contains solid carbonaceous material from sedimentary rock, selected from coal, anthracite, bituminous coal, semi-bituminous coal, brown coal, lignite or combinations thereof, and particulate material has ash content of less than about 5 wt. %. Invention also discloses a method of producing said petroleum fuel composition, a method of changing the grade of liquid petroleum fuel and a method of controlling the temperature of a flash of liquid petroleum fuel.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of quality of oil fuel.
