SUBSTANCE: invention relates to accumulators of electric power. In the method of controlling and/or adjusting the operating parameter of the electric energy accumulator, affecting the level of aging of the car battery, the actual and target aging level of the accumulator is determined. Then the allowable range of the working parameter is corrected for at least one operating parameter if comparison of the actual aging level with the target level of aging shows that the actual level of aging indicates increased/decreased aging as compared to the target level of aging. Operating parameter range is adjusted so that the accumulator operation is carried out within the corrected range of the operating parameter with decreased/increased aging rate.

EFFECT: improved battery operation.
