FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to surgical clips, more specifically to polymer ligature clips having improved retention capacity. Ligature clip comprises a first leg and a second leg, a first row of uniformly spaced ribs and a second row of spaced apart ribs. Each leg has a proximal end and a distal end. Each leg has an inner surface and an outer surface. Feet are made with possibility of rotation around hinge from open position, in which possibility of arrangement of inner surfaces of legs around vessel or duct, into closed position, in which the distal ends are connected by constipation and provide the possibility of compression of the vessel or duct between the inner surfaces of both legs. First row of uniformly spaced ribs protrudes from the inner surface of the first leg. Second row of uniformly spaced ribs protrudes from the inner surface of the first leg. Rows are spaced from each other around longitudinally passing central line along inner surface of first leg. Ribs of the first row are offset relative to the ribs of the second row. In the ligature clip, at least one first row rib includes a base extending from the inner surface of the first leg. Base has one end facing the longitudinally passing central line of the inner surface of the first leg, and a tooth having a sharp tip protruding beyond this one end of the base and extending in the direction from the inner surface of the first leg. First row tooth extends in the direction of the longitudinally extending central line along the length of the inner surface of the second leg. At least one rib of the second row includes a base extending from the inner surface of the first leg. Base of at least one rib of the second row has one end facing the longitudinally extending central line of the inner surface of the first leg, and a tooth having a sharp tip, protruding beyond this one end of base of said at least one rib of second row and extending in direction from inner surface of first leg. Second row teeth protrude in direction of second leg central longitudinally passing central line, thereby providing the possibility to pierce the wall of the vessel or duct with sharp tips of teeth and prevent movement of the clip relative to the vessel or duct, when the clip is in the closed position, with minimization of tissue injury. In the second embodiment, the clip for ligation of the vessel or duct comprises a first and a second leg. First and second legs have respective first and second inner surfaces configured to be arranged around the vessel or duct and engageable with the vessel or duct, when the first and second legs are moved around the hinge from the open position to the closed position, in which the distal end sections are fixed to each other with a lock. Method of vessel or duct ligation by means of the above clip and applicator device, including stages, at which clip is gripped by distal end sections by applicator device, applicator device is used to locate the inner surfaces of the legs across the vessel or duct to be ligated, inserting the sharpened teeth into the wall of the vessel or duct using the applicator device to apply compressive force by pressing the distal end portions towards each other, stage is completed when the lock is engaged and the applicator device is removed. In the third version, the ligature clip comprises a first leg and a second leg, first and second rows of uniformly spaced ribs. Rows are spaced from each other along longitudinally passing central line of inner surface of first leg. Each rib has a tooth. Teeth protrude outward from inner surface of first leg, are inclined in direction of longitudinally passing central line of inner surface of second leg, thereby providing the possibility of pricking the wall of the vessel or duct with teeth and preventing relative movement between the clip and the vessel or duct with minimizing tissue injury when the clip is in the closed position. Second embodiment of the method of ligation of a vessel or duct using said ligature clip, comprising steps of bringing the ligature clip into an open position, capturing the ligature clip at the distal end of each leg or nearby it, placing the inner surfaces of the legs across the vessel or duct to be ligated, sharpened teeth are introduced by piercing into the wall of the vessel or duct by application of compressive force by pressing the distal end sections to each other, and the stage is completed when the lock is engaged.

EFFECT: ligature clip is able to be tightly fixed on tissue or walls of vessel, not sliding, causing at the same time minimum damages of fabric or walls of vessel.
