SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for soft reduction of blooms and ingots of round section with liquid or partially liquid core, which come from continuous casting installation, to perform controlled compression, installation for continuous production of metal products of round section and method of their production. Device for soft reduction of round cross-section metal products comprises at least two blocks for soft reduction, which are arranged in series. Each soft reduction unit has a group of three rollers arranged at angle of 120° relative to each other. Group of three rolls of one unit for soft crimping is offset by a predetermined angle relative to group of three rolls of adjacent unit for soft reduction.
EFFECT: as a result, the volume of the liquid phase is reduced and the quality of the inner part of the article is improved.
