METHOD OF NOSE TIP VOLUME CORRECTION WITH CLOSED RHINOPLASTY Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/24 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used for correction of nose tip volume with closed rhinoplasty. After skin separation from cephalic edge of lateral pedicle of lower lateral cartilage at 2–3 mm from both sides of vestibule in area of cephalic edge of lateral pedicle resected from through cartilage incision, needle cephalic edge is grasped by first needle pitch at border with middle pedicle of left side. Further, with the second step, the needle is passed through the transseptal incision into the right half of the nose and by the third needle pitch, the cephalic edge of the right lateral pedicle is gripped at the same level as on the left to provide symmetry. Thereafter, the knot is tightened by correcting the decrease in the volume of the tip of the nose with the tension of the knotted knot. Knot remains in soft tissues between the approximated lateral pedicles.

EFFECT: method provides sparing and low-traumatic reduction of completeness of nose tip and above-tip zone.
