FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely plastic surgery, and may be used in rhinoplasty. Cut the lateral crus of the alar cartilage in such a way that the medial caudal part of the lateral crus of the alar cartilage remains fixed to the arch, and its lateral part becomes mobile. In this case, the remaining cephalic part is crossed in the medial part of the lateral crus of the alar cartilage. After that, a seam is applied, forming the dome of the alar cartilage. Additionally, the medial margin of the cephalic part is sewed to it. Seam is tied. In the lateral region, the mobile edge of the caudal part of the alar cartilage is rotated, which is located in the tunnel of the cutaneous edge of the alar.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to improve the aesthetic and functional results of rhinoplasty due to the technique of dissection of the lateral crus of the alar cartilage, as well as the rotation and location in the skin tunnel of the mobile edge of the caudal part of the alar cartilage.
