Wave bearing (7) is a bearing with a deep chute and is installed on the elliptic outer circumferential surface of rigid insert (5), as a result, external rolling path (9) and inner race (8) are bent to get elliptical shape. D is diameter of balls (10), Ro is radius of fluted surface of outer raceway, Ri is radius of fluted surface of inner raceway, Ro/D – compliance of external raceway, and Ri/D – compliance of internal raceway, and compliance Ro/D of external raceway is more than compliance Ri/D of internal raceway.

EFFECT: improved operational characteristics of the wave gear.
