FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used for palliative treatment of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma recurrences. That is ensured by selecting a target vessel, blood supply tumor, and determining the blood flow volume velocity in it. Solution containing 50 mg of cisplatin and 50 ml of isotonic solution of sodium chloride is prepared. Obtained solution is introduced into the target vessel in the following mode: three seconds of adding the solution, three seconds of pause. Estimated dose of solution is 70 mg per m2.
EFFECT: invention enables reducing ischemic tissue injury accompanying cisplatin and providing higher clinical effectiveness in recurrent squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck.
