SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. Image decoding method includes: obtaining intra prediction mode; generation of prediction block by intra-frame prediction mode; generating residual block using intra-frame prediction mode; and regeneration unit generation using prediction unit and residual unit, wherein size of prediction unit is determined from information on conversion size, wherein residual unit is generated by back scanning of quantised information by coefficient, wherein the type of the inverse transformation matrix is determined based on the size of the transformation unit, wherein the intra prediction mode prediction of the prediction unit includes: designing a group of most probable modes (MPM); setting intra-frame prediction mode of the MPM group; and determining prediction mode of intra prediction of current prediction block by comparing prediction mode index with three intra-frame prediction modes of MPM group.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of duration of internal prediction, as well as reduction of number of coding bits of residual block and alarm bits required for signalling of internal prediction mode.
