FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to bumper (1) and method of its production. Bar is made of at least one steel sheet (10) made by roller profiling and comprises upper beam (12) and lower beam (14), each of which passes in transverse direction and has closed cross section formed by front wall (16, 22) , rear wall (18, 24), upper wall (20) and lower wall (26) such that upper (20) and lower (26) walls connect front wall (16, 22) with rear wall (18, 24). Central wall (28) passing between front (16, 22) and rear (18, 24) walls of upper (12) and lower (14) beams forms lower wall of upper beam (12) and upper wall of lower beam (14). Central wall (28) passes in at least two different planes. Front part passes in the first plane, and the back part passes in the second plane parallel to the first plane. Central part extends in third plane inclined between first and second planes. Connection between central part and front part, respectively, with rear part is formed by rounded section passing between central part and front part, respectively, with rear part, besides, radius of curvature of rounded section is more than or equal to half of thickness of steel sheet.
