SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling emissions of a vehicle. Disclosed is automobile vehicle emissions control method. Said method comprises: determining vehicle emissions (302); determining category of current driving conditions of vehicle (304); and determination of control of engine and/or treatment of exhaust gases (306), used in accordance with emission values and category of current driving conditions.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of fuel efficiency while maintaining the value of emissions below or equal to the threshold value.
