FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Proposed device comprises housing including chamber, opening, actuator and separate compartment. Separate compartment is detachably secured inside the body by means of retainer. Actuation device provides possibility of internal substance retraction through hole into chamber and simultaneous extraction of separate compartment along housing until separate compartment is pushed out from housing of sampling device, thereby creating increased space or volume for receiving and storage of sample inside chamber devices for sampling. Actuator is tied to closing means and is configured to shut off opening by closing means when said actuator moves. Retainer represents a fastener and/or material that responds to changes in the environment of the device. Separate compartment comprises at least battery, sensor and microprocessor. Disclosed is a method for preparing a sample from an animal's gastrointestinal tract.
EFFECT: invention enables to collect a large number of samples owing to a separate compartment of the device.
