FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Sampling device comprises a body. Housing comprises chamber, opening, actuator and separate compartment. Separate compartment is detachably mounted inside the housing by means of a retainer, which is material which responds to changes in the external environment of the device. Actuation means enables retraction of inner substance through hole in chamber with simultaneous pushing of separate compartment along housing until a separate compartment is pushed out of the housing of the sampling device, thereby creating an increased space or volume for receiving and storing the sample inside the chamber of the sampling device. Disclosed is a method of producing a sample of the gastrointestinal tract of an animal.
EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring the use of the device for a long time and simple extraction from the gastrointestinal tract.
