FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of telecommunication and information technologies. Such result is achieved by the fact that at the transmitting side performing the arithmetic coding of the next part of the information sequence (IS) with length k≥1 bit, from the current arithmetic coding interval with length D>2, the current permitted encoding interval with length Dβ>2 by rule Dβ=β⋅D, where noise immunity coefficient β selected within 0<β<1, the current allowed encoding interval is divided into a current sub-interval of encoding a null symbol and a current sub-interval of encoding a single symbol, performing arithmetic coding of next part of IS in next part of coded sequence, at the receiving side, storing and continuing no more than Z≥2 alternative received sequences (ARS), closest to Hamming metrics to the received sequence, ARS is arithmetically decoded with control of compliance of current ARS value to current permitted decoding sub-interval, alternative received sequence with minimum metric value is selected, and decoded regular parts of reconstructed information sequence are transmitted to recipient.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of noise immunity of transmission of next parts of coded sequence under action of multiple transmission errors.
