FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of wear-resistant coatings on metals with the help of energy of explosive substances, for example, in production of friction pairs in the form of braking devices. Two-layer package containing cladding plate from aluminum alloy and plated is made of copper with preset ratio of thicknesses. Pack burst welding is carried out at preset detonation speeds of explosive charge and collision of cladding plate with cladding plate. Thermal treatment of the welded billet is carried out to produce a solid high-hardness intermetallic diffusion layer between layers of aluminum alloy and copper. Produced billet is cooled in water solution of table salt to allow spontaneous separation of layer from aluminum alloy from copper layer along diffusion intermetallic interlayer and formation of high-hard wear-resistant coatings consisting of intermetallides of aluminum-copper system.
EFFECT: method provides simultaneous production of high-strength wear-resistant intermetallic coatings on surfaces of copper and aluminum plates.
