FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to production of workpieces from nickel-based forging alloy, which can be used in production of high-temperature elements of turbine design. Workpiece from forging alloy based on Ni contains crystalline grains of γ-phase and drop-down particles of γ'-phase and has a chemical composition, wherein 50–70 vol.% of γ'-phase drops into matrix γ-phase at 700°C. Phase γ' contains: γ'-phase particles of aging falling into crystalline grains of γ-phase, and particles of γ'-phase of eutectic reaction falling between said crystalline grains of γ-phase, wherein in γ'-phase particles of eutectic reaction content of Ni and Al exceeds content of said elements in γ'-phase particles of aging, and average size of γ'-phase particles of eutectic reaction is 2–40 mcm.
EFFECT: workpiece is characterized by high mechanical properties.
